Henry's first look at the tree Christmas morning
We didn't plan the morning out that well. Of all days, Henry decided to sleep in. I had to wake him up so he had time to open his presents. He didn't really understand he had more than one present to open. Once one was open, he was happy to just play with that one. We had to keep moving him along in order to get to mass on time. We were worried about finding a seat at church, but we quickly realized 9:30 mass is not very popular. I guess most parents were smart and went to the later mass so their children had time open and play with all the fun things Santa brought. At least next year we will be ready!

The tent Santa brought is Henry's new favorite place to read books and play hide and seek. I'll say "Where is Henry" and he immediately jumps into the tent and sits patiently as the search begins. Henry has the biggest smile on his face while he sits and waits for me to find him in his secret hiding place.

WOW! Henry had a great Christmas!!! We are postponing gifts from Santa as long as possible!(until he understands) But Mark was the same way last year. He was perfectly content with the one toy. He didn't want to open any others. Henry will get into it more next year!
